Warranty Policy

Our commitment

We stand behind our work in writing. If a system we installed fails within the warranty period because of our materials or workmanship, we will come back and repair it at no cost to you, subject to this policy.

Warranty periods

• Waterproofing systems (membrane, chemical, cementitious and damp-proofing): up to 5 years from handover.
• Structural and crack repair, concrete and plaster restoration: 1 year from handover.
• Painting and decorative coatings: 1 year from handover.

The exact period for your job, the areas covered and the system used are printed on the warranty certificate. If the certificate and this policy differ, the certificate applies.

When the warranty starts

The warranty starts on the date of handover and becomes valid once the full contract amount has been paid. Until then, no warranty applies. A certificate is valid only with its number, signature and stamp, and you can check any certificate with us. We issue the certificate within 7 days of final payment.

What is covered

Water leakage or seepage through the specific areas we treated, caused by failure of the materials we supplied or the way we applied them.

What is not covered

1. Areas not listed on the certificate, and water entering from adjoining areas, neighbouring properties or parts of the building we did not treat.
2. Leaks from plumbing, drainage, water tanks, pipes, air-conditioner lines or other services.
3. New cracks or failures caused by structural movement, settlement, overloading, vibration or design defects in the building.
4. Damage caused by anyone else after handover, including drilling, fixing antennas, solar panels or grills, laying tiles, gardening, or any repair or alteration to the treated area.
5. Blocked outlets, rainwater pipes or drains, or water ponding caused by lack of routine cleaning.
6. Natural events and accidents, including earthquakes, floods, cyclones, fire, falling trees and lightning.
7. Areas we recommended treating that you chose not to include, as recorded on the quotation.
8. Dampness, stains or efflorescence from moisture already in the structure before our work, while it dries out.
9. The cost of removing and re-laying tiles, flooring, gardens, fixtures or other finishes added after handover, where this is needed to reach the treated layer.
10. Condensation, and cosmetic changes such as colour fading, chalking, efflorescence or minor hairline crazing that does not let water through.
11. Damage to furniture, interiors, stock or other contents, and any indirect or consequential loss, to the extent permitted by law.

Keeping your warranty valid

1. Clean terrace outlets, gutters and drains before every monsoon and keep them free of debris.
2. Do not allow any alteration to the treated area without consulting us first.
3. Follow any care instructions we give you at handover.
4. Keep your warranty certificate and invoice.

How to make a claim

1. Contact us within 15 days of noticing the problem, with your certificate number and photos of the leak.
2. We will inspect the site within 7 working days, weather and access permitting.
3. If the problem is covered, we will repair or re-treat the affected area at no charge. We decide the most suitable method of repair.
4. If the problem is not covered, we will explain why in writing and, if you wish, give you a quotation to fix it.

Repairs made under warranty do not extend the original warranty period.

Transfer

If you sell the property, the remaining warranty can be transferred to the new owner on written request, at no charge.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law.
